Centre for Ageing Better is launching an annual Action Day to tackle ageism on 20th March 2024 with the theme 'see and be seen'. To support activity on the day we are pleased to be able to offer a number of micro-grants to community groups and voluntary sector organisations to hold events and activities on the day. These micro-grants are available to groups in areas who are part of the UK Network of Age-friendly Communities and are being offered as part of a pilot programme.
We encourage everyone who is interested in making a micro-grant application to attend one of two online information sessions:
- Friday 8th December 10am – 11am
- Thursday 14th December 1pm – 2pm
In these sessions we will talk through why we are offering the opportunity, what we want to fund and who is eligible. This will also be an opportunity for you to ask any questions you have about the Action Day or the micro-grants.
